Mitt Romney has speed up his election campaign now. Till late Tuesday, he was attending just one public event daily and at times, he was not even attending a single rally. It is the high time and time is slipping at fast pace from the hands of both the candidates. Now, both the candidates want to earn the maximum support from their supporters.
He accelerated the campaign by starting it from Florida. He planned to hold a private fundraiser on Wednesday in Florida before heading to Virginia. However, he changed the plan and decided to stop there. He has also canceled his weekend plans.
The sudden changes in the Romney’s election campaigning schedule is due to the way Obama has ramped up enthusiasm in campaigning. In the past three days, he has appeared in around six rallies and has addressed more than 23,000 supporters in Florida, New Hampshire and Iowa.
According to Post-ABC News Poll shows that among registered voter, Obama has been leading Romney by 50 percent to 44 percent. Whereas among likely voters, the margin comes down to 49 percent to 48 percent.
Romney’s last-minute campaign ramp up shows that Obama has drawn away the attention from Romney.
According to Obama’s campaign, they have raised around $114 million in August which $3 million more than Romney’s campaign.
